  • Reasons why having good vagus function is so critical for our health and longevity
It is critical because the parasympathetic fibers of the vagus nerve connect to almost all the organs, from the neck down to the second segment of the transverse colon! 
This means that the vagus nerve is the primary component of your parasympathetic nervous system and as such plays a key role in tasks such as:

- gastrointestinal peristalsis,
